Internet Aggregation For Growing Healthcare Client
Conectrix helps a growing healthcare company consolidate their network management across all sites under a single provider.
Client Profile:
An orthopedic healthcare company with 500 employees, operating across 30 sites.
The client had just undergone a merger in which two large healthcare companies combined.
As a result, the client had fragmented infrastructure across all of its locations.
Challenges:
Circuit orders had been placed randomly across locations by different users within the company.
There was no visibility into IP information, network hardware, or contract terms with the individual carriers.
Without knowing the authorized user for every carrier, the client's IT support team struggled to manage internet service inquiries.
Solution:
The Conectrix team worked quickly and efficiently, contacting each branch office's associated carrier to document the authorized user, account number and PIN, IP information, and contract details (in-term or month-to-month).
Once this discovery work was complete, and after assessing its partner portfolio for the best qualified vendor, Conectrix introduced the client to New Horizon Communications (NHC).
From there, NHC helped replace circuits that were on month-to-month billing or add secondary connections at sites that still had in-term contracts with carriers
Results:
Through NHC, the client consolidated billing onto a single invoice, simplifying payment processing for accounts payable.
Rather than multiple disjointed lines of support for different locations, there was only one line for all internet service inquiries.
Conectrix set the client's IT team up with a single dashboard to view everything from circuit performance and network hardware to trouble tickets, boosting efficiency.
Conectrix's recommendation, NHC, proved to be an easy partner to work with going forward, streamlining future internet orders and replacements.
